Worldwide, 63 percent of the fibers used in the production of nonwoven fabrics are polypropylene, 23 percent are polyester, 8 percent are viscose, 2 percent are acrylic fibers, 1.5 percent are polyamide, and the remaining 3 percent are other fibers.
The application amount of nonwoven fabric on sanitary absorbing materials, medical materials, transportation tools and footwear materials has increased significantly.
